Report Tallinn, Estonia May 20-22:

We were well-hosted and taken care of by the YWAM people in town. The 8 of us from abroad met in an apartment for an introduction to the history of Estonia by watching the DVD: “The Singing Revolution.” It’s a powerful documentary about the spirit of the nation and how the Estonians saw the revolution 26 years ago as the Russian army withdrew through a powerful weapon: Singing! The Estonians have a culture of singing and non-violence. They gathered 30,000 on a stage and 300,000 more people in the public sing-along. During the revolution, many of the songs were songs of prayer to God. God heard their prayers. Since that time, the Estonians still sing, but the songs are without God. That is quite typical of the human nature. The Israelites did the same. When there is a problem, we call on God, but as soon as we are doing well, we forget about Him. (see Hos 6:1-3 ) We prayed a lot for the Estonians not making their songs their god, but making the creator of the song their God. The second day, we went to the place where they have the song festivals to pray.

The first day in the afternoon, we went around the old city, which was founded by the Hanseatens. It is still the heart of the city and it’s important to pray for the heart as the life flows out from it. We did that by walking around the city wall and stopping at some gates for prayer. We finished praying at the Freedom gate. Only Jesus can set the nation free.

The church is weak in the city and the nation. We only had 3-4 people from the city to pray with us. Also the communication between the Christians didn’t seem to function well. But we had good time of prayer still. Outside the parliament the last day, we had a very good time of prayer. Estonia will have the presidency of the EU council from July 1st to Dec 31st, 2017. Our prayer was for a protection to not be swallowed up by the EU despising this small nation, but that they will seize the occasion to stand up and shown their beautiful heart.

We had a connection to go inside the parliament, but there was no open prayer there since the deputy, despite being a Christian, didn’t really see any need of prayer. But he opened the doors for us to go up in the Herman Tower, the symbol of power, where the Estonian flag is raised every day.

Torshavn April 30 – May 3, 2015

In the Faroe Islands, north of Scotland, between Norway and Iceland, it’s normally raining a lot, at least several times a day. But when we were praying there, we had sunshine for the 3 days. That was a miracle by itself and it was very good for us as we were praying outdoor in Torshavn. Someone in the team had received for this trip “an open heaven”. And we got it physically and spiritually in Torshavn and in Reykjavik as well. So we praise the Lord for that.

We joined in with the nordic prayer conference which is Norway, Sweden, Finland, Aaland, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland. It was a good time of fellowship, worship and praying for the different nations.

Praying in the city was also very powerful. The nation is only 50 000 inhabitants so the capital is small. There are maybe 20% of the inhabitants who are Christians, which is a lot.

We prayed at important places like :

Where the nation had set up a monument to thank the king of Denmark for his visit. This is a good symbol of honor and a good attitude of the nation.

Another monument for the people who died in the sea during the second world war and as fishers. The deep seated fear and anguish in the nation probably has its root in these traumas. We prayed for healing of the Faroe’s soul here.

Inside government office TorshavnWe were also able to go into the parliament and the government office. It’s so small and we were able to sit down in the ministers’ chairs. Our canadian friend sitting in the prime minister’s chair on the photo. There are not much security there and several of the MP’s we could meet in the churches. It’s another world compared to many of the parliaments of the world. But it was a very precious time to be able to go Torshavn and pray in these places.

We finished off the conference with praying for Israel and the muslims with all the terror around the world. The day we left for Iceland, it started to rain again.

Tirana April 1-6, 2014:

We were very well welcomed by Pastor Barry Ogden and the International Protestant Church of Tirana. That was a great help in every way. Such servant people are a big blessing.

There were also a very good participation from the churches in Tirana. About 40 people came for he teachings in the daytime, but there were more than 100 people in the evenings. They were hungry for more of God and His Kingdom. Also there were more than 60 people going out on the streets to pray at key places in town, which is a really good participation.

The minister to who we prophesied is to the left of the woman. Here is session. One day we were able to visit 2 Ministers of the new Cabinet that came into power about 5 months ago. One of them was raised as an orphan in a Missionary orphanage, and received Jesus as personal Lord as a child. He is now in a key position of the Government of Albania, a predominantly Muslim nation (!)

All of us who went into his office prophesied to him the Word of the Lord for Albania and for him personally. Here is a part of what I told him after I read Jeremiah 29:10-11 (notice the 70 yrs of captivity):

In 1944 Albania came under Communism; in 2013, 70 years were completed and the time of captivity of the Albanian nation by the powers of Darkness came to an end. The manifestation of the shift of seasons in the natural world was the change of Government; the previous one was Muslim and corrupt (e.g. there was no social welfare paid to the citizens for over 6 months). The new Government has Christian Ministers, cares for the good of the nation, and cares for the people.

Last week the new Prime Minister of Albania went to Germany. The (Christian) Minister with whom we met was one of the delegates, and shared with us that Angela Merkel spent 4 hours with them. It was the first time Albania was received so well in Europe, even by the most powerful leader in today’s EU. That was a confirmation of the shift in the spirit realm.

Skaderberg statue

The day after we had prayed inside the parliament, the leader of the other party that had been prime minister for 22 years before this new government came to power, he resigned from politics. That’s another clear change!
We were also able to pray and prophesy over 3 other VIP’s in the nation.

Our presence in Albania this week, and the opportunity to prophesy to members of the Albanian Cabinet, is God’s additional witness to the message of the times:
He wants to give Albania a new identity, a hope and a future! We give God glory for all that happened during our time in Tirana
